Wow! Another great weather day and I get to go hiking!!! Headed up to Catoctin with my Sidekick Pauli for some trail crawling. This is my favorite local spot for hiking. It is just beautiful and the trails are NEVER crowded when I go. Today I didn’t see anyone on the trails at all. In fact, the only other person I saw was in the parking lot as I was getting ready to leave. He wanted to know where Camp David was…thought he could get there by car….
I told him it was up on the western ridge somewhere and if you go looking for it you will know you are getting close because secret service will just appear out of mist and tell you to turn around! He asked, “Can you see any of the buildings?” I told him only on Google Earth.
