Alright, so tomorrow we are going to go practice backpacking.  We (Trail Dames) are going to take the loaded packs over on Loudon Heights trail in Virginia.  Don’t know how it’s going to work out! Should be alright, but I have a feeling I’ll be huffing and puffing up the first hill! Georgia is only, I guess, a month and a half away. Before I go there I have another backpack planned for next weekend as long as the weather holds!  We’re going down on the Appalachian trail from Pearisburg to  Stoney Creek Valley, 19 miles.  This weekend there is 4 inches of snow in that section. If the weather doesn’t clear up we probably won’t go out backpacking next weekend. I’d really like to go… I feel like winter is going on and on and on and on here and I’m just tired of it! I really want to strap that pack on and head to the woods. So I’ll let you know what happens!  Keeping good thoughts!
